Business Development Manager

Work mode: Full-time

The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, market insight, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. They must be capable of formulating and executing effective business development strategies in a fast-changing market environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.      New Project Development

·         Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies to identify potential opportunities and threats, including government and private sector project pipelines.

·         Develop and execute plans to acquire new projects through visits, calls, emails, social media, and industry exhibitions.

·         Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue private and government project opportunities that can be channeled to existing and loyal dealers, building relationships with project owners, contractors, and procurement officers.

·         Create personalized business development strategies to establish long-term partnerships.

2.      Dealer Support and Relationship Management

·         Coordinate with dealer clients to match identified projects by capability and location and develop a structured program to formalize project funneling and track dealer performance.

·         Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and loyal dealers, ensuring priority access to project leads and timely responses to their needs.

·         Address client feedback to ensure satisfaction, enhance loyalty, and coordinate internal resources for effective support.

·         Participate in contract negotiations to ensure terms align with company interests.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

1.      Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, management, or related fields preferred.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, or sales, with industry experience preferred.

2.      Core Skills

·         Excellent market analysis and business insight, with the ability to quickly identify market opportunities.

·         Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to build trust with clients and project owners.

·         Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

3.      Personal Attributes

·         Results-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.

·         Strategic thinking and innovative mindset to propose and drive new business growth opportunities.

4.      Preferred Qualifications

·         Prior experience with 3C industry resources or customer networks is a plus.

·         Demonstrated ability to source and win private or government projects and direct them through distribution or dealer channels.
