Philteq Bulletin
April 30, 2026
The Philippine esports industry continues to rise, stronger, more vibrant, and more impactful than ever before. At the heart of this momentum is a growing ecosystem of creators, athletes, organizations, and technology partners working together to elevate the local scene to global standards.
This year, Philteq Enterprise Inc. proudly took part in one of the most prestigious events in the industry, the 4th Philippine Esports Awards, where our team was selected by Lexar Philippines to represent the brand. It was more than just an event; it was a celebration of excellence, passion, and the relentless drive of Filipino gamers and innovators.
For our dealers and vendor partners, this milestone highlights something bigger: the increasing role of technology distribution and partnerships in shaping the esports landscape.
The evening officially began with the opening remarks of Atty. Francisco Rivera, who set a strong and purposeful tone for the 4th Philippine Esports Awards.
He emphasized that beyond the games, tournaments, and productions, the true foundation of esports lies in its people: the players, creators, teams, and professionals who continue to shape the industry.
One of his key messages highlighted the importance of recognition:
“The people of esports must be recognized for their contributions to the industry.”
He also reinforced a bold and unifying vision for the Philippines in the global esports landscape:
“Our goal is to make the Philippines top in the esports universe.”
It was a powerful opening that reminded everyone in the room that esports is not just growing locally, it is positioning itself on the world stage, driven by the talent, passion, and dedication of the Filipino community.

The first set of awards focused on Talent and Production, highlighting the backbone of every successful esports event.
When Wildmnds was announced as Esports Creatives Team of the Year, their acceptance speech struck a chord:
“Who would have thought that a one-year-old company built by two dreamers would be recognized by the esports industry agad?”
That line alone captured what makes esports unique: it’s an industry where innovation and passion can fast-track success.
They continued:
“All together, guys, gawin nating world-class yung creatives and production ng esports dito sa Philippines.”

For Philteq, this was a reminder of how technology distribution plays a role in enabling these creative visions. Behind every seamless broadcast, high-quality stream, and immersive event experience are reliable hardware and infrastructure, areas where we actively contribute.
The recognition of CBZN Perspective as Esports Production Team of the Year and the Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 as Esports Event of the Year further reinforced how production excellence elevates the entire industry.
One of the event organizers shared:
“This award goes to everybody… lalo na yung mga hindi niyo nakikita na nagtrabaho doon.”
A powerful acknowledgment of the unseen workforce, something every dealer and vendor can relate to.

As the night transitioned into the Entertainment Category, the spotlight shifted to personalities who bring esports to life.
Bridgitte “Brigida” Ramos, Esports Personality of the Year, shared a heartfelt message:
“Esports honestly may seem like it’s a relatively small industry… but it has enough room to let you grow if you allow it to.”
This perfectly encapsulates why many businesses, including Philteq and our partners, are investing in this space. The growth potential is real, and it’s only getting bigger.
Brian “Guiang Gaming” Guiang, awarded Content Creator of the Year, reflected on his journey:
“12 to 14 years ago, I aspired to become a content creator as a kid… and I believe he would be proud of me.”
Stories like this remind us that today’s creators are long-term builders of the ecosystem, much like our dealers who have grown with us over the years.

Myrtle Sarrosa, Content Streamer of the Year, delivered one of the most memorable speeches of the night:
“Sometimes, you have to take that leap of faith—even if you don’t know where you’ll land.”
She added:
“Life is very short… we have to do the things that we are most passionate about.”
For businesses navigating the fast-paced IT and esports industries, this message hits home. Growth often requires bold decisions.

“Knowledge is power.”
And perhaps one of the most raw and real speeches came from Shin Boo “Sh1nBoo” Ponferrada, Play-by-Play Caster of the Year:
“We work so hard in this industry… and it’s so unsure. But we’re still here.”
He added a message that resonated across the entire room:
“If someone asks for help… make sure you extend a hand to them.”
That line reflects the collaborative spirit that drives not only esports, but also Philteq’s relationships with dealers and vendors.

The intermission took a meaningful turn as Dale Ibay returned to the stage to perform his song “On Our Way Out.” What started as a light moment quickly became one of the most relatable highlights of the night.
He shared a message that resonated across the room:
“You’re spending 8–10 hours in front of a computer screen, and people don’t understand… but if that’s your passion—and you’re winning awards for it—then you’re doing something worthwhile with your life.”
He closed with a powerful reminder:
“Don’t let anybody else tell you what you want to do. Just do what you love.”
In a room full of gamers, creators, and industry professionals, it wasn’t just a performance; it was a reflection of everyone’s journey in esports.

No Filipino event feels complete without a raffle, and this night elevated it into a full experience of its own.
From Mogu Mogu gift packs and USB drives to Lexar bags, the giveaways kept the crowd engaged, but all eyes were on the highly anticipated ASRock RX 9070 grand prize, which brought a surge of excitement across the venue.
As names like Angel Martel, Mica Albaniz, Trisha Leigh Tan Chua, JB Junio, Brian Ortolusco Yalcon, and many others were called, cheers, laughter, and playful reactions filled the room. Each announcement wasn’t just about who won; it became a shared moment that connected everyone in the audience.
More than the prizes themselves, the raffle captured something uniquely Filipino: the joy of collective celebration, where every call of a name felt like a win for the entire community.

He began by acknowledging key figures like Chairman Francisco Rivera and Commissioner Walter Torres, emphasizing how their continued support reflects the growing recognition of esports at a national level.
Despite global challenges, he reminded everyone:
“It’s been tough… but we’re still here. Philippine esports is still here—to carry the nation with pride and honor.”

More than just an awards night, he highlighted what the event truly represents:
“We celebrate more than just victories. We celebrate the remarkable rise of an industry… from grassroots beginnings into a global platform for Filipino talent.”
He closed with a call that resonated across the entire room:
