Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Sales Team Leader to drive the overall growth and performance of the sales team. This critical leadership role is responsible for overseeing sales, margin, and inventory growth across the department. The Team Leader is tasked with coordinating strategies with Product Managers and Sales Account Managers, supervising the sales team to meet productivity targets, and setting and ensuring adherence to Product Manager quotas. Furthermore, the role involves administrative oversight, including managing budgets, events, and incentives, and providing detailed documentation and consolidation of sales forecasts for monthly and quarterly reporting. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience in IT Products Distribution and two years in a supervisory role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Management
    • Oversee sales, margin, and inventory growth.
    • Coordinate with Product Managers and Sales Account Managers to align strategies.
    • Set and ensure quotas are met for Product Managers.
  • Team Supervision and Management
    • Supervise sales team for productivity and target achievement.
    • Collaborate with Sales Manager in evaluating performance and KPIs.
    • Identify improvement areas through sales analysis.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage product enablement, budget, events, and incentives.
    • Appraise and evaluate Product Managers and Sales Account Managers.
    • Review and approve purchase requests, promotions, and contracts.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Document sales forecasts and commitments.
    • Consolidate data for monthly and quarterly reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or any related course
  • With at least 3-years of relevant experience in the same industry (IT Products Distribution) AND 2-years of proven experience in supervisory or senior role
  • Has strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills
  • Solid problem-solving skills
